    The national flag of Cambodia consists of three horizontal bands - blue (top), red (double width), and blue (bottom) - with a white three-towered temple representing Angkor Wat outlined in black in the center of the red band

    Cambodia flag history and facts
    Cambodia flag is the only national flag to incorporate an actual building into its design. The national flag of Cambodia in its present form was originally adopted in 1948 and readopted in 1993, after the Constituent Assembly election in 1993 and restoration of the monarchy. The current Cambodian flag, together with the flag of Afghanistan, hold the distinction of being the only two state flags to feature a building. Red and blue are traditional colors of Cambodia.
